Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Amy developed a love for acting and performance from an early age and attended The Scottish Youth Theatre. She went on to study at Queen Margaret University and the Edinburgh College of Art to study filmmaking and photography. Continuing her interest in being in front of the camera as well as behind it, Amy appeared in the short 'Avaritia' which won an Award of Excellence at the Best Shorts Competition and which premiered in the Cannes Film Festival, Short Film Corner in May 2015.Amy continues to work on her photography and filmmaking as well as acting.
