Aseem Sharma was born to parents Dr. Rajinder Sharma and Seema Sharma in Jalandhar , India. She moved to Kenya in 2001 at the age of 9 years old. Since then she has grown up between India and Kenya. She graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering in India and soon realized that the corporate sector was not for her. She auditioned for multiple adverts and TVCs. She opened shop by being a finalist in Miss World Kenya 2017-2018. Soon after, she got cast as Preeti in Disconnect which was released in theatres in 2018. Now, Disconnect is on Netflix and was trending in Kenya. She then did a lead role in Love Sweet Sound by Docubox. Since, she has appeared in many shows and done cameos. She finally struck gold with being cast as Sonia Kahoor on Maria. With a show that has 10+ M viewers daily, Sharma's career graph is on the rise.She also finished shooting an American film in 2020 which is in Post Production.Sharma is single and is very close to her family.
