Carolina Riesgo is a bilingual American-Spanish actress. At age ten, she began training at Italia Conti Arts Centre in London, focusing on acting and ballet. She made her acting debut at eleven in the movie Horrid Henry directed by BAFTA-nominated Nick Moore.When she was fourteen, Carolina moved to the states and continued her acting training for four years at the American Conservatory Theatre youth department in San Francisco. During this period, she performed in local theatre productions in San Francisco and would travel to Los Angeles for commercial and theatrical auditions. In her senior year of high school, Carolina was accepted at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts' Intensive Program in New York City.In 2015, Carolina moved to Los Angeles to pursue her life-long dream of becoming a professional actress and completed her BFA in Acting at New York Film Academy, Los Angeles to further pursue her career.Shortly after graduation, Carolina landed her first guest-starring role in the hit show 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', working with Emmy-award-winning director Larry David. Carolina has since then worked on various projects, such as Film Independent's 'Noche del Infierno', a finalist in Slamdance Film Festival, and HBOMax Latino Short Film Competition.More recently, Carolina starred in Octavio Pisano's (CAA) directorial debut 'El Campo', an autobiographical film about growing up in Mexico City and the realities of Narcos, and the inner world of cartels. One of her latest upcoming projects is the film 'Marco Polo', directed by her brother Pablo Riesgo, an AFI Alumni, who shares her passion and ambition in the entertainment industry. 'Marco Polo' begins its festival and distribution run in 2022.Carolina strives for diversity in her craft and demonstrates her acting abilities by playing a wide range of characters. She continues to develop her breadth with professional training in various LA acting studios such as Margie Haber, The Storytellers Conservatory, and El Centro del Actor (Madrid).
