Chloi Zi is a pre-teen with a 2nd-degree black belt and an acting resume already sporting credits in live theater, short films and commercials. Chloi earned that black belt through discipline, practice, and support from her family and openness to taking direction. Her parents noticed very early that Chloi -- pronounced "Kloh'-ee" -- loved to memorize songs, commercials and TV shows, so they enrolled her in acting classes. That passion and discipline revealed itself quickly: Chloi booked the job on her first audition! She has since appeared in print ads and multi-media ad campaigns in two states' markets. Chloi shares her athleticism and skills with younger children, teaching Taekwondo and working with after-school programs. She says she knows from her own experience, that martial arts empowers kids with confidence and discipline: it gives them tools to avoid conflict, and even helps them protect themselves when necessary.
