It was through her acting coach that she landed her first audition, for the part she played as Annette in "The Alleged Texas Cheerleader Murdering Mom," with Holly Hunter and Beau Bridges, directed by Michael Ritchie. She won theater competitions in high school, including "Romeo and Juliet."Darrah has been in short and indie films, including "Miss Bertram's Awakening," which screened at Cannes.
