Derek is an actor and writer dividing his time between the Silicon Valley and Los Angeles. Since 2000, he has run the website Fanboy Planet, which led to a brief stint on BBC Radio as "Our Man in America" talking about movie news, and occasional gigs writing comics, including The Greatest American Hero revival with original star William Katt. He has also been performing with the improvisational group ComedySportz since 1989. Derek has two children. Hide
