Doug Rockwell is an award-winning Los Angeles based American songwriter, producer and musician. He might be described as a "jack of all trades." Hailing from the Garden State, Doug started out touring full-time as the front-man for various rock bands, most notably pop/rock outfit Lovelectric. Their cover of Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child" went viral, not only raking up over a million views on YouTube, but their original arrangement was actually re-covered by other acts across the globe. Their rendition of Bruno Mars' "Locked Out Of Heaven" received a personal "thumbs up" from the man himself, and Blink-182's Travis Barker re-posted their cover of "Boxing Day" on his own channel, again skyrocketing the band's reach.At this time, Doug met his Grammy award-winning songwriting partner, Bill Grainer. They began collaborating on multiple projects for artists such as American Idol's Anthony Fedorov and Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall. Doug also continued honing his craft on the other end of the spectrum, toplining for EDM and working with various DJ's around the world. Doug's knack for writing radio-ready hooks landed him cuts with acts such as Laidback Luke and Kat Deluna.Doug's ability to wear multiple hats in multiple genres then caught the attention of LA-based multi-platinum producer Isaac Hasson. In 2014, the two began working together between coasts, which eventually led to his permanent move to Los Angeles. Almost immediately Doug found himself at Foxy Studios in the chair next to veteran producer John Feldmann, working as his protégé. It was here that Doug proudly stamped his name on tracks for major acts like 5 Seconds Of Summer and Sleeping With Sirens.Simultaneously, Doug began working on multiple projects for TV and film, some of which led to major network success. He wrote the theme song for Nickelodeon's hit TV show "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn," recurring songs on Nick Jr.'s "Blaze And The Monster Machines," and the theme song, underscoring, and additional episode music for Nickelodeon's animated series "Loud House."In early 2015, Doug started working closely with Hollywood Records, writing and producing for new talent, which included a Christmas song titled "Good This Year" featuring Olivia Holt. Then in August 2015, Doug officially signed a publishing deal with Hollywood Records & Disney Music Publishing.Doug's dexterity and versatility has already established him as an extraordinary force in the industry, paving his own lane on a crowded highway.
