Michael's passion for acting started at a young age with involvement in his camp play, school productions and community theatre. In 2012, Michael made his professional debut, and went on to receive a Dora Mavor Moore nomination [Outstanding Performance by a Male (Musical)] for his portrayal of Noah in the musical Caroline or Change (Acting Upstage Productions). Michael made his professional film/TV debut that same year (Series Regular - The LA Complex), and more recently wrapped production on the new Disney feature Bunks. Maintaining his love for both stage and screen, some notable other stage credits include: Jason in Falsettos (Acting Upstage), and Nathan in The Full Monty (Theatre Aquarius). Additional film credits include a role on Call Me Fitz, and a lead role in the feature Algonquin. In his spare time, Michael loves to sing, dance, edit his own movies and spend time with his brother, sisters and golden retriever, Lexie Hide
