Ryan Link spent his formative years in Seattle, where he soaked up the exploding local music scene while singing and playing drums in a few bands. He made his screen acting debut in 1997 in the short film "Stall", produced and directed by his housemates at the time, Jacob Mosler and Ryan Strunk. Unfortunately, that film never found distribution.Ryan attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for a couple of semesters. There, he met the members of what would become Miss Fortune, a critically acclaimed power-pop band he fronted for 3 years. In August 2002, Ryan joined the touring cast of Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida", where he stood by as first understudy for the lead role of Radames. By the time the tour closed in August 2003, he had already been hired to make his Broadway debut in Rent.Since then Ryan has appeared in two more Broadway shows: the revival of HAIR (2009) and Frank Wildhorn's WONDERLAND (2011).The drumset is his favorite instrument; he also plays guitar, bass, saxophone, and piano, picked up the tuba for a background role in a movie, and once was a member of the Northwest Boychoir.
