Whitney Grandell was born on March 25th, 1987 in San Bernardino, California, USA as Whitney Rae Grandell. She is an actress, known for Circle (2017), Scorned: Love Kills (2012) and Funny or Die's Billy on the Street (2011).Although Whitney was born in Los Angeles, her family moved to the small country town of Cottonwood in the heart of northern California when she was one year old. Thanks to her mother's expertise, she began her dance training at just three years old and then joined a competitive dance studio when she turned seven. Growing up, her mother owned her own studio and taught dance on Whitney's high school campus while her father was the head Varsity football coach there as well. Therefore, Whitney was always in the community eye. Between riding horses, cheer-leading for her dad's football team, and dancing at every opportunity possible, she also acted in her high school musicals and had a burning passion for singing. She decided to nurture her love for the performing arts by auditioning for The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Shortly after just one year of training in LA she moved to NYC to finish school and start working. Although driven from an early age to become a successful performer, it was in the cultural melting pot of the most incredible city on earth where she realized her deep love for acting. Hide
