Clarissa is excited to acquire a small role with a budding star Chas Hunter. Unfortunately she gets fired quite immediately, at the same time she was coming back to her town to go to a bridal shower. Clarissa is now on a mission to impress her friends and starts a rumour that she and Chas are in a relationship. The news leaks out which causes them to be together in real life to avoid bad press.
