The movie concerns Kelly Collins, a free-spirited eighth grade girl whose mother gets married to Brigadier General Joe 'Sir' Maxwell. Kelly then gets horrified when she is forced to move to military school where she has to try her best to keep it together amidst endless rules and regulations.
