Accused of committing a murder, an innocent kind man, Henry Charriere, who has been falsely accused of murder and has been sentenced to a jail in a French colony, so he tries to escape many time, but fails, the thing that leads them to put him in an isolated prison to prevent him from attempting to escape again but he still trying.
