The Journey of Natty Gann
It is the story of a girl named Natty Jean, a 12-year-old girl left by her father in Chicago while on his way to Washington. Nate's father traveled to look for work in the timber industry, so Nate lived alone and decided to escape on a freight train westward. Now, Nate is looking for her father to join him but is 2000 miles away.
