Caprica may be starting off a little unevenly, but it's packed with such a wealth of great ideas that you won't want to miss a single episode.

We need a significant change; a twist to make this story feel necessary and gripping, because at the moment there are independently compelling ideas and a remarkable universe to play around in, but not much holding the seams together.

It's not Battlestar Galactica, in that it swaps out the military components of that show for a bit of teen angst and soap opera intrigue, but I really like the lead performances by Eric Stoltz and Esai Morales.
