Carla Shinall was born on March 3, 1982, in Cartersville, Georgia. She attended Cass High School where she was a member of the marching band, dance team, and drama club. She became a certified nursing assistant in 2000 shortly after finishing high-school. She attended college at Georgia Northwestern, as well as a few other trade schools where her primary focus was in health-care/nursing.In 2014, she responded to an online casting call for the Vacation reboot, starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate, which landed her a small role as a background actor. She was immediately bitten by the acting bug and there was no doubt in her mind that acting was her calling.Since then, Carla has had several speaking roles in Film, Television, and video. She also executive produced a horror film in London. A dream that once seemed so far out of reach for this small-town southern belle, has now become a reality, and she plans to continue reaching for the stars until she has reached super-stardom. Hide
