Garry has well over 50 roles as actor that he has amassed over a 30 year span and is 2012 SAG Award Nominee for his work on The Dark Knight Rises. He was born in NYC on December 2, 1961. He began his acting career at the early age of eighteen, his first foray into acting was a school production of West Side Story and first film credit was Prizzi's Honor in 1985. Garry has recently co-starred in the sleeper Indy feature Who's Jenna, Blowtorch, Rob The Mob, The Amazing Spiderman 2, The Dark Knight Rises (SAG Award Nominee), the hit television series Gotham, Blue Bloods and Person of Interest. Garry is shooting the highly anticipated HBO Series, The Deuce. In the independent film, DESTRESSED, Garry portrays himself as a man whose stress levels almost kill him sending him on his worldwide quest for Inner peace . On his journey he discovers a little known secret which helps to cure this ailment in this delightful and endearing multiple award winning film. DESTRESSED was written, produced and directed by the actor as well. The film made its world premiere on April 5, 2014 at the GSFF in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It won The Audience Choice Award and Homegrown Documentary Awards. There was a special screening at The Strand Theater in Lakewood NJ on July 12 with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Autism Shield Program. Actors Vincent Piazza from Boardwalk Empire and Al Sapienza of House of Cards came down to lend their support. DESTRESSED had a Red Carpet screening at The Golden Door Film Festival on September 19 , 2014 in Jersey City, NJ where it had to screen in two theaters due to it's overwhelming demand and popularity. The film went on to win The Best Documentary Award at the GDFF 2016 opened up new doors for Garry Pastore and Willowcreek Entertainment as Garry co-produced Almost Paris which has just been Official Selection at The Tribeca Film Festival and then went on to Cannes Film Festival 2016. Garry continues to work in the set decorating department of the film industry as a lead man. Hide
