Raised in Lawrenceville, GA Lane attended Woodward Academy private school where he pursued his creative side as well as baseball. He attended college to play baseball where he was also an art major and studied marketing. Upon graduating he fell into film as the industry began to boom in Atlanta. He attended a local talent showcase put on by his acting studio, and immediately grabbed the attention of numerous casting directors and agencies in Atlanta.
