Bartender Ben comes home one day and finds that Emma, a baby girl, is left on his doorstep by his ex-girlfriend. With the help from his mother, his brother, his friend and Riley, who also is in love with him, Ben raises the baby himself.

What easily could be a trite rehashing of the man-learns-to-cope-with-baby's-bodily-functions quips (of which there are plenty) turns out to have some heart.

Baby Daddy is as stale as an old Diaper Genie, a series of poopy one-liners, powdered with little "Aw"-inducing moments of heart.

A recycled premise is delivered in a script full of flat, lazy jokes, many of which we wouldn't even recognize as jokes if the actors weren't hitting the punch lines so hard.
