People didn't like this one, but I really liked what it tried to do. Bringing in the Initiative as a patriarchal military organization trying to exploit forces they didn't understand, and having the Slayer set things right was compelling

There's a lot of character development surrounding key characters with some welcome focus on Willow (and Oz) and of course Buffy.
