Doctor Foster - Season 1
It is a dramatic series telling about Gemma Foster and she is a doctor that people trust but her life does not look good because of what is happening to her marriage. Gemma suspects that her husband is having an affair, as she tries to find out what's going on and begins the investigation. Because of what Gemma is doing, her family and even some of her patients seem to be in chaos unusually.

It also looked great - the sunny bucolic feel of early scenes giving way to a more sombre palette as he suspicions mounted. I suspect this will get darker as the series progresses.

The script was sparkily written by Olivier Award-winner Mike Bartlett - you could tell he was a playwright from the way he crowbarred in 300-year-old William Congreve quotes - but there were also some stagy narrative contrivances.
