Season 18 seems to be full of powerful surprises. An international biking competition is taking place across the village of Burwood Mantle, and perhaps something strange will happen. After the death of the race leader, DCI Barnaby and Dr. Nelson find themselves involved in a new world of crime involving extortion, bribery and bloodshed in potentially lethal and suspicious circumstances.
