The fifth season comes back through a long series of powerful events that begin with a representative of the style that has happened to the way Monk tries to solve it. On the other hand, the city-wide garbage strike is a bet on his game as he tries to solve the murder of a union president. Monk and Natalie also deviate from a murder investigation at a local music festival when a movie turns into a death road due to suspected overdose.
