The series returns to offer a wide range of strong and different events through the fifth season. The season begins, with McManus thinking that White may fix him if he has a good time with Said. Alvarez Guerra offers a unique solution to their conflict; O'Reilly's mother, Susan Fitzgerald, begins a community service period teaching music in Oz. On the other hand, Oz is reopening following major renovations that were due to be completed after the gas explosion.
