The Last Kids on Earth - Season 1
This animated series explores the story of a 13-year-old orphan Jack. Although Jack is a young child, he tries to cope in his monster-filled town every day. Jack will have to struggle with reality when he tries to think fast and find new friends. Jack enters the creative stage if he wants to live in peace among the monsters.

It's all fine. It's not, like, great, but it's fine. And in the end, June disabuses Jack of all notions of damsel-saving, and the four kids save the world together, with remarkably negligible blood and gore. It's fine.

The Last Kids On Earth is one of the best kids' shows we've seen all year, mainly because it has plot and character development worthy of shows for grown-ups.
