A native of Cincinnati, Dagney attended the prestigious Cincinnati School for the Creative and Performing Arts and also apprenticed in the Cincinnati Ballet Company. After graduating from Stephens College, she moved to Los Angeles and quickly gained notice for her comedic skills as an actress and writer.She recently appeared on Ben & Kate, and starred in the Hallmark movie Strawberry Summer. Daily Variety singled out her performance in the feature film 'Park' as "positively radiant" and "hilarious" (you should totally check it out)Buffy The Vampire Slayer fans know her as 'Kathy' Buffy's demon college roommate, and Desperate Housewives followers know her as 'Nurse Heisel' the nurse with a questionable moral compass.Other notable TV credits include recurring roles on Pretty Little Liars, Desperate Housewives, E.R. Six Feet Under, Reba, George Lopez, Bernie Mac and The District.Dagney has appeared onstage at the prestigious Geffen Playhouse and Ford Theater, as well as mounted successful one-woman shows at The Hudson Theater.
