Leigh Bush was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan by her father, a physician's assistant and mother, a social worker. She attended Cass Technical High School, where she played on the tennis team and graduated from Detroit's Redford High School.Leigh is an avid lover of fashion and while at Western Michigan University she took fashion courses and modeled for local designers and stores. Inspired, she moved to NY to try modeling with a professional modeling agency while finishing her studies at NYU. Leigh was picked up by Eileen Ford of Ford ModeIs, and later by Wilhelmina Models, traveling the world as a professional model. She also resided and worked fashion/modeling in Japan and South Africa. She graduated from NYU and received her BA in Literature and Journalism. Leigh began doing commercials which peaked her interest in acting and led to her studying with William Esper Studios. She began doing theatre where she fell in love with acting. Her love of acting prompted her to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in TV and film. Leigh has landed numerous tv shows and films, working with top directors and actors, and continues to passionately pursue and enjoy her incredible journey as an actor.
