Season 3 presents a wide range of powerful and diverse events where Allison dreams of a dream where the Dubois family are puppets under the control of a young boy, Oliver. When the boy's father is found dead and appears to have fallen off the ladder, his dreams reveal that Oliver may be a child abused. Devalos must deal with the memory of their daughter's death. She committed suicide 6 years ago without leaving a note or goodbye. Joe has been put on a number of late nights in a big project and is a little obsessed that one of the children has given him a granddaughter.
