The seventh season of this series opens with Henry getting shot and Shawn is determined to investigate the shooter, ex-cop Carp. He finds out he is involved in a larger crime and Chelsea, Henry's long time stalker was with him in the hospital to keep his company.

On the level of entertainment that can accompany a workout or an hour of relaxation, Psych still fits solidly into that category.

After Twin Peaks, Psych is my favorite show. I realize it's not the best series on TV-even I must admit it's not masterpiece theater like Enlightened, Sherlock, or Homeland, for example-but Psych is my TV crack.

It's a wonder that that far along in its run, Psych still finds new and wonderful ways to amuse and delight fans.
