Following the struggles of Los Angeles investigation department, where a group of best investigators, under the leadership of Brenda Johnson, who according to her ability to read people's thoughts and so, she manages to solve the mysterious cases well. A new season begins with Brenda investigates on the murder of a contractor, who involved in having an affair with the wife of his customer.

By this time, you'd think we'd be tired of [Brenda's] shtick too, but The Closer has retained an amusing, compelling edge.

Not funny and full of quips to make us giggle, but a deep seated story digging into the heart of the characters and what makes them tick. Very well done.

There's no doubt, no faltering, and while courage is a noble virtue, Brenda's implacability doesn't seem all that heroic.
